\nstopping through Sioux Falls South Dakota, to reunite with old\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>
\nfriend and colleague (the Iowa Native, and Jazz Trumpet Virtuoso)\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>
\nJustin Kisor.<\/span>
\nAdam Niewood and Justin Kisor met while both being chosen as the\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>
\nfirst 18 students to attend the Juilliard Conservatory of Music’s\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>
\nfledging Jazz Program in 2001. \u00c2\u00a0Two years later, Adam and Justin\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>
\nrecorded a CD for the Native Language Label.<\/span>
\nFast forward to the present: Niewood just finished wrapping up the\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>
\nfinal stages on his most recent recording, produced by Bill\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>
\nGoodwin and tracked June 13th -15th, 2007 @ Skyline Pro.<\/span>
\nThe recording will be released later this year as a double CD\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>

\nhome in Iowa. \u00c2\u00a0I’ve never felt more comfortable playing with\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>
\nanother horn player. \u00c2\u00a0Effortless phrasing, articulation, and\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>
\nintonation … I can just close my eyes and play, and it’s as\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>
\nit Justin can read my mind.”<\/span>
\nNiewood will be bringing an eclectic group to back up Kisor and\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>
\nhimself: Minneapolis based Bass player Adam Linz, and Drummer\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>
\nAlden Ikeda, and from New York City – Jesse Lewis (a regular\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>
\nmember of Niewood’s group the Rabble Rousers) playing guitar.<\/span>
\n“Jesse spent the better part of a decade living and working as a\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>
\nprofessional guitar player in New Orleans, before making a\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>
