Rumors have been circulating awhile that a foundry was going to be built in Sioux Falls, on 8th Street. But I kinda just blew it off. Building a foundry is a major undertaking, with construction, ventilation, blast furnace. I didn’t think it was possible. The rumors have resurfaced and the Visual Arts Commission is claiming there is already one built?

Does anybody know about this? You would think there would be a major announcement? Foundries are major assets to a community – they are also very dangerous, and certain precautions have to be made.

Maybe someone in cyberspace knows more?
